Private Tournament for WSOPE Event #1 Entry ... GLASGOW POKER PLAYERS

This is a 36 player Double Shoot-Out for entry to Event #1 at this years WSOPE 2009.
£45 + £5 Entry w/ 8,000 starting chips and blinds start at 25-50 , 30 minute clock.

6 tables of 6 players , winner of each table will Final table w/ starting stack of 10,000 chips
   and blinds at 25-50 , 30 minute clock . Winner will receive entry to the 2009 WSOPE Event#1
Which will be held on Friday Sept. 18, 2009 .

Event #1 -Sep. 18,2009:  £ 1,000 + £60 - No-Limit Hold'em Day 1A  ( 3-day event/2 start days )

Event #1 -Sep. 19,2009:  £ 1,000 + £60 - No-Limit Hold'em Day 1B  

Final will be on Sept.20,2009

Winner will also receive £ 560.  travel expenses .

Hmmm, sounds attractive. Never heard of Archways Poker Club tho ... not many have apparently.

Only 3 paid from 100 runners? It"s really just a top heavy tourney. Good cash games / SnGs on the side to make the trip worthwhile?

Lukybugur , how you doin , The tournament will be held at The Alea Casino now due to their affiliation with London Casino Group LCI and with Betfair with the WSOPE . It will be a short handed Double Shoot-Out now . 36 Players Max.

6 tables of 6 players , the buy in is now £45 +£5 , winner take all . Entry plus £560 in cash for travel and expenses...


There has been quite some interest in this one , the casino will let me know on monday afternoon the 8th of June when players can go into the casino and buy their seat ahead of time .. I will post on Monday ...
