Sorry Bob. The points were allocated to Bristol. but my fingers typed Brighton. It had beena very long day.

That"s a STD button steal in the situation. With an M of 5 you can only fold or raise all-in and i"m
not going to sit there and whistle, watching my chips march accross the felt to smileriraq.
If i was going to get a point for the team i had to beat you, smiler and ibs. I used aggression.

Is it? From memory it either late in the second or early third session with an almost full table, the blinds were not that big and most if not everybody had folded. You had a reasonable stack in comparison to most of us and you could of been aggressive without committing all of all your chips or you could have folded. Good fortune favoured your play and you fished a 3, so fair play to you. Any other card would have made it look, to me at least, more reckless than I already thought it was.

personally I think you have to go with whatever works for you I can understand both arguments and during the games I noted certain behaviours by various individuals which I tried to exploit provided the situation fitted similar criteria.
Likewise when on the button I sometimes showed my hand when raising because I wanted to keep people honest (much to the annoyance of my team captain drowslasher who doesnt believe in showing his hand) because Myfair who was the BB when I was the button I knew was good enough to spot steals on the button so showing AK when raising on the button was in my interest, that said I didnt do it everytime I had a good hand on the button either because otherwise id be giving away a likewise tell.
This is only my 4th tournament within APAT and even I noticed there are some familiar faces showing up again and again at the FT so these people obviously have a style that works and itd be boring if we all played the same style so sometimes what seems to be a bonehead play is actually fairly smart.
Let put it this way if Gus Hansen makes that play he is a genius , if me , you or mayfair try it were donkeys
