Are messages being sent to those on the list? I only ask that anyone that doesn"t read the thread could turn up not knowing about this problem.

Yes, this has been highlighted on the home page of the APAT site and within the player briefing for the event.  An email will also be sent.

Will the cash desk be able to take payment on Friday night Des?

I would be tempted to leave it until Saturday Steve, to ensure they are focussed solely on the APAT event.  I wouldn"t want them not marking it off a list.

Email sent out this evening:

Dear Member,

You have registered to play in the Scottish Amateur Championship this coming weekend; July 18th & 19th.

Unfortunately due to a payment server failure, your payment into this event has failed.  Full details can be found via the Player Briefing on the APAT home page at www.apat.com or directly via the link below.

http://www.apat.com/forum/index.php?topic=3803.0

To ensure you retain your seat in the event, please pay your £75 entry at the cash desk of the Gala Maybury Casino in Edinburgh, before play commences at 2.30pm on Saturday.  If you are unable to pay before the event starts, your chips will be removed from play.

APAT apologises for any inconvenience that this causes you.  If you have any concerns or queries, please contact us at "customer@apat.com".

Yours faithfully,

Just want to check something.
I bought James Edwards"s seat in the clickfest as he was in vegas at the time and I qualified on line. Last night I got the email (above). I"m assuming that it"s James"s seat that is unpaid for (as in the list earlier in this thread) and that blue square have paid for mine.
Cheers.
Jon
