deanp27:
depends but i"d do anything but limp
fraac:
You want to get all-in against overcards + dead money. Either limping or standard raising, whichever looks more vulnerable to a good player in position at your table.

We dnt want a multi-way pot with 77 tho. I think limping is pure spewage. Also, I think if u r under 10bb"s then there is way more value is just picking up the blinds. Ur still gng to get called by most of the hands that r gng to raise if u limp (unless they r bad enuff to think u r limp folding ur

I removed link - it was dodgy as the page contained a banner for BetFair - bad Neilly (self-slap)
Set mining is one thing, yes you can limp with low / medium pocket pairs hoping to take down a big pot when you hit / feel you can represent a bigger hand but only if you are able to fold if you don"t hit / don"t feel like you can represent on Flop.
So close to the bubble in an MTT, I wouldn"t shove low PPs as, if you"re called (by a bigger stack will mean you"re playing for your tourney life), you"re 52%/48% at best. Not worth it IMO.
