Lines From The Weekend

(1/4) > >>

AceOnTheRiver:
I love the banter at these events

My personal favourite line from this weekend went as follows:

Tikay (on mic. commentating on the ME Final Table): "The Norweigen fella has said he"s all-in"

Paul McGuinness (from my table in the HORSE): "What he meant to say was, "can I have a cup of tea please""?

Comedy Genius.

My 2nd favourite was on Friday, involving the Irish father/son combo known to most. I think they are both called Gerard Smyth but I"m sure someone can put me right.

Outside in the Smoking Area during the 1st of the split dinner breaks with Senior and a few others when junior walks out:

Snr: "Are you out son?"
Jnr: "Yes!"
Snr: "Good Man, well played!!... What happened?"
Jnr: "Shoved with Pocket Queens"
Snr: "And?..........." (in a tone clearly wanting information on how the hand played out etc.)
Jnr: "LOST"
(Raucous laughter from all around)

lukybugur:
LMFAO, fantastic!

Swinebag:
Please dont encourage Paul

AMRN:
My favourite line was on our HORSE table. Neil Blatchly was giving us all a laugh with his approach to the Stud games...... but the classic line came when a guy pays the Bring In with  :2c: in Stud Hi. Neil looks at him with an incredulous stare, and says..... "why the hell are you betting a 2?"
