speculation goes that the initial ban is two "windows" knowing that the clubs very highly paid law teams take it to appeal. this then gives Fifa room to still take action but also reduce the ban to one.

team in switzerland had same punishment, and they appealed to CAS (court of abritration for sport - which is the highest court for sporting issues)...CAS froze the punishment until it heard all the facts...so i suspect this will happen..meaning u"ll be fine for January and possilble only serve 2010 summer.
