So with just the 1 game left, the following players are in with a shout of securing a place in the Grand Final:
Updated with 1 matchday to go.
Richard Rudling-Smith (Khazi) Cardiff 41 6 matches scoring
Darren Shallis (Drowslasher) Cardiff 36 5 matches scoring
Paul Mcarthy (smileriraq3) Cardiff 32 4 matches scoring
Dan Owston (ScandiCrusher) Cardiff 30 4 matches scoring
Malcolm Vince (mindmanWPL) Cardiff 27 4 matches scoring
Graham Wills (rivertaff2) Cardiff 21 3 matches scoring
Richard has secured a place, meaning that there are 3 places available. If the scores are tied, then the first tiebreaker is the number of matches in which players have scored. So, if i have my sums correct, Graham must get 1st place for 10 points to overtake Dan, and Malcolm needs at least 7th place for 4 points to overtake Dan. If they both do this, then its time to dig out the abacus, and Dan, Paul and myself will need to score some points.
Best of luck to all players.

Interesting table dynamics here. Malcolm, myself and Dan are all sat next to each other.

First out from the above list is Paul. That guarantees me a seat in the Grand Final. Also means that Dan needs 2 points (9th place) to overtake Paul and guarantee a seat.

Rudders is next to go in 31st place. It doesn"t affect the seats, but a great effort by Richard over the season. Well played.
Malcolm now departs in 26th place, and misses out on a Grand Final seat. Well played this season Malcolm.
This now means that Paul McCarthy has booked his seat in the Grand Final. Only Graham can stop Dan from joining the Fab Four by winning the tournament, and Dan not scoring.
