APAT UK Team Championship - January 2010
APAT:
The APAT UK Team Championship; the final event of Season Three, will be held at the G Casino in Manchester on January 23rd & 24th, 2010.
Following on from the very successful Team Championship last year which was won by the Bristol & South West Meetup, this event will again feature teams of 10 players, with 50% of the prize pool plus a GUKPT Seat and National Medals going towards individual prizes, while the other 50% of the prize pool, plus the title and Championship Cup will be going towards the Team Championship.
Bristol & South West Meetup, Winner of the 2008 Team Championship
The entry fee per player will be £50, with no registration fee being charged. There will be a reduction in the number of teams able to enter this year, from 20 to 16. Bristol & South West Meetup will be guaranteed their place as Champions. Please feel free to notify any other forums who you think would be interested in entering one team, and add their name to this thread. APAT will then finalise the entry list.
Full details of the event will be published shortly, but essentially it will be a two day, 10,000 chip deepstack with a 45 minute clock as with all APAT National Championship events.
Mary Martin, Winner of the 2008 Individual Championship
APAT:
APAT will be submitting one team which will be captained by Leigh Wiltshire. Leigh will start a separate thread for players interested in representing APAT in the UK Team Championship.
