i sniff a bad beat hand

and anyway the raise on the turn when a club came should have set some alarm bells off in your head
were you stacking off because you are annoyed your trips got busted?

what do you think he is raising with at this spot?

and at the very worst i think you should be check, crying call the river although i am pretty sure i could fold there

Min 3 bet is not good, oop you must make it $0.90 - $1.10

Its a very co-ordinated flop, so betting full pot is not a mistake, your $0.40 is a .66 psb and not overly bad but I do like to bet more for this flop texture.

Turn lead is fine, we have the Kc for a back door 2nd nut flush if we are behind and the pot will be bigger than our stack if we call so I think its an auto re-pop shove. Even against a really tight range of JJ,88,AcXc, we have 51% equity

I think check call is best now, it allows him to take a stab with worse hands that he"ll fold to a lead.

absolute not.....and at the very least, not my intention..hate bad beats, boring and predictable.  just wanted to know if i played it ok-ish, or if not  why not

and if i could get away from it on the river....protection by checking or bet/fold.

Only way (well best way) to learn is to post hands like this, by getting opinions from better players, and one of the reasons that i joined APAT....so please don"t say its a bad beat story...that grates on me.. :)

Min-raise pre is not good!!  Defines ur range and makes his range harder to determine which is a nitemare wen oop.

Flop bet needs to be bigger.  Really drawy board - need to charge ppl to get thr.  Bet~.90 imo.  This also allows u to get more value from stubborn 2nd pair hands.

Turn is fine.

River isnt as awful as I first thought wen reading it.  Sets rnt gng to fold at this level and we will still get random 2p hands to stack off.  Its so easy to hit the call button online tht I think u can get called a LOT lighter at this level.  We only have a spr of 1.  Im happy to get it in here with given stacks and top set.  Wish results had been left out of op.
