Parking at the Grand is by way of 2 public car parks either side of the hotel! About £5.60 per 24 hours.

I"m staying the Grand too. £75 direct from the hotel.

Does anyone know anything about parking near there?

Ah good, I"ll have a responsible adult to walk me home.  :D

SWANSEA - my earlier post referred to the Travelodge as being in the epicentre of noisy clubland but right by the casino. Sorry, I meant Premier Inn. It WILL be noisy. Still think the best value and nicest is the IBIS on Fabian Way, just 1 mile on a direct route from the casino. The IBIS still comes up as full for those dates but I phoned them and got a twin for Suz and me @ £53 per room pn. For those driving to Aspers and who are new to Swansea, the car park next door is tricky to get to due to a one-way system and a couple of litte lanes so defo use sat nav. GL

DUBLIN PLANNING

You have to know that this will take longer than flying but if you have the time...e.g. Friday & Monday off.

The train fare (including ferries) from any station in Britain to Dublin is £30.50 or less each way via Holyhead.
