Season 4 Travel tips [The leftovers]

I have another question regarding travelling :-)
What is everyone"s plan on transport for the UK Champs who lives outside of London? I just entered without thinking about it, now after going onto google maps it has dawned on me I have to drive through London :S. As I live in a small town in the Cotswolds driving somewhere like that is very daunting. Are most of you going to park and ride? Or drive straight in through the congestion charge?

Park and Ride is, I suppose, an option but not really a practical one. What you would save by avoiding the congestion charge would easily be eaten up by the cost of public transport.
BTW...There is no Congestion Charge on Saturday/Sunday or weekdays after 6pm.

Travelling sorted now for London. I noticed the vic was only 0.5miles from paddington station, so to avoid driving in I am going to drive to didcot, get the train and walk. Then taxi to the hotel in the evening. sorted!! ad1 ac
