right blue square---- does anyone else have this problem. get a hand and the site boots you off. seems to happen quite alot to me, been booted holding nuts countless times, as well as after betting a big hand like trips on flop, obviously loose as site doesnt like to reload that quickly, or access the tables fast.
cant wait till next live regional. ;D

BlueSq software was working a lot better for me on Sat night than on Thursday. One question Ken, how much RAM do you have in your PC? I find that with 1GB / 2GB (laptop / desktop) I have less problems than friends running systems with 512MB / 768MB. I think this is the first thing to look at if the delays are lengthy enough to force you to fold a hand.
My BlueSq "delays" are usually between 3 secs and 12 secs which is still bad but still short enough that I can catch an affected hand. 12 secs has only happened a couple of times when I"ve been running my RAM hard with lots of work-related windows open at the same time.
See http://www.apat.com/forum/index.php?topic=502.0 for other BlueSq software related rants and more techy stuff on the disadvantages of playing wirelessly.
Hope this helps. See you on 10th! I promise to get your name right next time! :-X

Im mainly a poker stars man myself due to the choice of tourneys and the reliabilty of the software. Love playing certain tourneys on PKR though - have to say its a lot more fun and keeps the interest in the longer tourneys.
Try the $30 deep-stack tourney on sunday afternoon at 3pm. Good standard of play, good structure and doesnt last a ridiculous amount of time.
Oh and btw, cash games are steal at the lower levels. So much dead money!!

On my laptop, with 2GB of RAM I have zero problems on BlueSQ.
Sometimes it can ISP issues, often it is memory issues with the player"s comptuer. The only time that iPoker used to freeze for me was when I only had 512MB of RAM and I was running Poker Tracker. Each time Poker Tracker imported the hand histories and updated its database, everything would freeze for a few seconds.

Used to be party poker but left it because of the drop in the prize money in all their tournaments when americans were banned. Now play on Stars mostly but also think full tilt have as good software. IMO they are the top two sites at the moment, will play blue square occasionally but dont think their tournament structures and value per tourny entry fee go anywhere near close to challengling the "big two".
