Great turn-out last night by the South London Team for Week One of the League. Unfortunately we didn"t have the best of nights on the tables , but well done to Lee and Nigel for finishing in the top 20. If we continue with this commitment the points are sure to follow. Apat are looking into the structure for next weeks game as I"m sure most of you will agree last night was way too fast. See you all on the 14th March for week 2 and hopefully better luck.

hopefully i"ll do a bit better than my first showing for SL this week  :"(  damn  ac ad1 to flopped quads  :(

i play in a pub league most weeks but wouldnt mind my first outing to a card room , any recommendation from anyone ?

live in welling so i guess my closest is equal chance or the international , the better the opposition the better ,it"s more to learn than earn.

Round Two is upon us and looking at the lobby not many South London team members signed up yet. I"m sure we will have another good turn out this evening and hopefully some points to kick start our campaign. I"m off to the NEC now (Crufts) but will be back for the game.

Sorry folks not a Captains innings tonight.

Slow played my cowboys and came unstuck to two pair. Then ran my two pair into trips. No bad beats, just bad play.

Should have stayed at Crufts. By the way a dog won, would you believe it?
