NOPE WE GOT NO HISTORY

Chipaccrual:
Right, I was going to leave this thread up, but getting close to deleting it now.   ;)

Got to say, I never necessarily liked the way Chelsea played to win their recent titles.  All a bit boring compared to the play of United and the gunners, but this season they have dispelled that myth.

Simply frightening scoring record.  What a finish they had to the season.  I do think that United"s season turned on the week of the Bayern/Chelsea games and Rooney"s injury, but that only shows how well Rooney was propping us up for the season.

Hats off to Chelsea, if you"re going to win the league on the last day, then a thumping 8-0 win is the way to do it.

Will be an interesting summer of transfers.  I think next season could really see an open league with 3 or 4 in with a shout going into the last few weeks of the season.

Just Pompey to beat for the double then ?   It"s in the bag isn"t it ?      ::)

MintTrav:
Who will ever forget the historic win in the 1960 FA Youth Cup?

Chelsea:
Just a note on the FA cup final. The largest score in a final was in 1903 when Bury beat Derby 6-0 at Crystal Palace.

Got to be worth a fiver for that record to be broken  ;)

MintTrav:
I actually think it will be closer than that - I"m sure Chelsea have a chance.
