The penultimate game of the league. Realistically I think we"ve blown it. We weren"t getting enough numbers anyway and now with this game on at the same time as England v Germany it"s pretty much gg promotion chances, slight as they were!

Anyway, I"ll be there peeping over the top of my lappie at the match. If there"s anyone else who fancies it, it"d be great to see you. If we get 2 or 3 runners we might even be able to bink enough points to keep our promotion hopes alive going into the last game which is NEXT WEEK.

Just a quick reminder - 90 minutes to go - 4 Notts in out of 18 total. Not too bad as we"re second to Luton who have 10 entrants. I"m hoping everybody else will be drowning their sorrows.

Come on - let"s bink the 3 points. We know it can be done - the mackems showed the way. Let"s keep our promotion hopes alive!

We"re 3 points adrift of Kent who currently occupy the last promotion spot. To get that spot from them we need to be level on points at the end of the season. We get the spot if we finish level due to count back on number of 1st place finishes - we have 2 Kent have 0. So our first objective tonight is to score at least one point to give ourselves half a chance next week - DON"T FORGET THE FINAL GAME IS NEXT WEEK

At the moment Luton have 15 players, Sunderland 6, Notts 4, Kent 1 and Swansea 1. Only 4 players count to the matchday points total so as things stand we have a good chance of getting one point or possibly more.

Take your time, play your own game but keep half an eye on beating the Kent players - at the moment that is theyid62 - and the Swansea players - at the moment that is Nemisiss.

I"ll keep this thread updated so we know where we stand.

EDIT: Reg now closed so the above is correct - theyid62 & Nemisiss are our main targets. If we can bink 2 points then fantastic.

EDIT: 2 early Sunderland casualties - a real chance to score 2 points  - UP NOTTS!!!!
