nice turn of pace over 6f so the extra furlong is no problem , King Torus has his work cut out with this fellow , he looks smart. Harry Findlay"s horse is running in the Sangster colours whilst he serves out his ban but no doubt he"ll have a few quid on to win :) lol ...

nice 1st time out run at Goodwood , Sonning Rose went onto win next time easily then with a fine 2nd in the chesham stakes with King Torus back in 4th so Meehan has a line of form to go by and CP showed definite improvement next time out...
3.25 - Beethoven ew - i"ll take a punt with this one Leigh , he won the Dewhurst nicely , 1st time out as a 3yo he only finished 4 lengths behind Canford Cliffs so he can only improve lol , Aidan o B won the Sussex Stakes with the Rock of Gibralter after he had won the Dewhurst , if Ryan Moore was aboard woohoo , has his son riding Beethoven with O"Donoghue on the pace horse?? worth a tickle just in case , although Aidan o B isn"t known for big price winners at Goodwood theres always a 1st time ;D

out of stall 3 alongside Steinbeck till 3 out gets squeezed , drops in till 2 out and then Moore switches out and finds a bit of horse under him lol...
4.00 - Verdant
4.35 - Echo Ridge [another Beckett 2yo hot pot? bred from the family of Lochsong, i luvvved that filly back in the good old days when Ian Balding trained]
5.10 - Agony And Ecstasy
5:45 - Manassas
glgl Leigh with your punting.........
edit - Echo Ridge has been pulled out of the 4.35 so i"ve backed Qenaa at 8"s

It very much is punting. I like to think I have a bit of skill with it, but the reality is probably very different.
I"ve been going to Glorious week for about 6 years, and have made a profit each year. I pick one horse to win per race, and it"s become a bit of a challenge to keep the lucky steak going.
It"s the only race meeting that I really spend time going through form and stats.
2009 - 15.37%
2008 - 28.89%
2007 - 14.03%
2006 - 76.94%
2005 - 106.43%
Typical accountant, doing ROI"s on a weeks betting. 2005 and 2006 were great years. ;D
