Amsterdam Master Classics Final Table

danafish:
There is a slight move in the general direction of aggression.

Another flop is seen, this one  6h ah 9h. In a break with tradition, Trond bets. Michael, similarly throwing Today"s Heads Up Conventions out the window, raises him. He folds.

Now there is preflop aggression. Trond raises to around 120k, only for Michael to re-raise to around 300k. Trond passes. Michael isn"t going down without a fight...

Djinn:
Man I wish we could see the players" cards clearly when they reach showdown.  Here"s what I think just happened (it"s all quality information til right at the end)...

Trond limps on the button and calls Michael"s preflop raise to 120k.
Flop:  6h 7h 6d  Michael bets out 175k, called quickly by Trond.
Turn:  jd  Both players check.
River:  jc  Again, check-check.

Trond wins the pot with two pair, Jacks and Sevens - and it looks like Michael had A-4.

Djinn:
With such a noticeable chip advantage, Trond Eidsvig has started applying pressure, raising nearly every time Michael Martin limps on the button.  He did just that a moment ago, winning the pot on the turn with the board reading  :3d: 9h ac qc with a 150k bet after they"d both checked the flop.

It looks as though the chips are roughly 700k:the rest, in favour of Trond.

danafish:
Every time I pick up the camera the players stop chuckling and go all serious like they"re playing for €100k or something. Most disappointing. I will capture a snicker at least before the end of this...

danafish:
Michael takes a few chips with a bet on a  qc 4s :as: flop.

He then gives them and more back to Trond the next hand - he bets 50k on an  ac 6h 8s flop and Trond calls. They both check the  4h turn and  :3h: river, and Trond in some wise wins the hand.

They are now on a break, I believe because Trond needed to pee.

Oh, and they"re back.
