Amsterdam Master Classics Final Table

<< < (18/31) > >>

Djinn:
It"s good to be in the top three...the mood has lightened considerably, and there"s something which looks a lot like giggling going on at the Eidsvig/Martin end of the table.  They just blind-on-blind checked down a board until it read  :2h: 8c 4h :2d: :2s: at which point a mere 40k bet from Michael took it down.

danafish:
Tristan McDonald has just suffered a huge hit, calling Trond"s chunky bet on the river of a  :2h: ts jh 4c 6h only to be shown Trond"s  8h 5h for the flush, leaving him with just 165k.

The next two hands he steals the blinds with a preflop shove - now on 200k or so.

But the third hand in a row he shoves - actually this time to an 80k raise from Trond -  and this time he looks to make more than just the blinds.

Trond -  kh jc

Tristan -  ac kd

Board -  4s 5d :as: ad ah

QUAAAAAAAADS! And McDonald doubles up.

Djinn:
Incidentally, there are a lot of small breaks at this stage of the tournament...rumour has it Michael Martin isn"t interested in dealing, but you never know.  As ever the prize money jumps are highest at the top (unless you count the jump from bubble to first in-the-money spot which is strictly infinite) and often we"ve seen chip stacks level out and deals made at the last minute.  Probably not this time though.

danafish:
Play seems to have cagey-ed up some since McDonald"s double-up put him back in the running.

McDonald and Martin check down a  :3d: tc 6s kc jh board; Martin mucks because McDonald has somehow won it.

Martin raises and takes the blinds.

Martin and Eidsvig check down a  7d 7s ac 4h 6c board, and Eidsvig takes it.

Martin steals the blinds again.

Jen has acquired some photos of dancing girls to keep you entertained until something happens.

Djinn:
Did someone ask for a picture of the guys with earphones on controlling the huge camera dolly?  Well, I couldn"t get in position to snap them, so these ladies will have to do.
