OK, we have agreed to start the old thursday night game up again, and i am hoping that this is going to help me get back to loving poker again. I shall blog tomrrow night to let you all know how it goes. hopefully it will a bit of a happier posting :)

We have got our old players back having a game on thursday night. After a bit of contempation i am hoping that i will be able to get back into things and get more importantly back to enjoying myself!
If not i may well take your advice i think :)

My brief observations while i have a minute FWIW
- There is nothing wrong with going back to a bit of ABC
- You can still get into complex situations post-flop playing ABC, your experience will give you an Edge
- There will always be donkeys at the table. tbf they pay their money and they can play how they want to
- Don"t laugh but......... nit it up for a bit (PM sent)
- You know limp-folding is bad, apart from certain specific situations (e.g. your limp gets raised, 3-bet & 4-bet) but limping itself is not always a bad thing. Pick a number of hands to limp call with from EP and reassess after the flop
- Squeeeeeze! If you are better than the donkeys at the table they will give you free chips. Do it with Raggy aces, Mid-pairs, sc"s... if you get called, then it"s your turn to hit.
I could go on but.... I have a job (I"m obv not that good at poker see ;))
