Royal Flush
lukybugur:
All new members to Gala Edinburgh were given a £10 free bet voucher. £10 just for turning up to play in their first APAT Event.
I hope the Royal Flush Voucher was at least a meal for 2 from the a la carte menu ... If not, that would be BS!
Maxriddles:
I had a royal flush on Sky Poker a few months back and likewise there was no bonus, I didn"t realise that other sites did have one. Wouldn"t be a consideration I"d make when choosing a site to play on as the chances of hitting one are so very small.
Nice to have had one but should I ever have another one I hope to get paid off a bit better than I did the last time.
kinboshi:
Think where that bonus comes from. It comes from the rake or the juice on tournaments.
I"d rather have a 30% rakeback/loyalty bonus rather than a bonus that I"m unlikely ever to get. Even the ones that do offer a royal flush bonus, they usually state that the player has to use both hole cards, and must see a showdown (without just checking it down on some).

Someone got a Royal Flush in the Walsall regional yesterday. Got paid fairly well for it as well.
I think there was some sort of bonus for him from the casino. A voucher for a meal or something...

Yeh that was my cousin. He got paid pretty well, he was up against an aggressive opponent and they had a flush.
Kinboshi, I was on your table. Seat 9.

The first table? I spoke to your cousin last night online during the sat. He was doing well when I busted out (AJ no match for K3 all-in pre).
He said you"d qualified for Manchester - I think his words were you "folded" your way there! Good work.
