During October Betfair Poker is giving away football packages, football shirts, entries to live poker events and tickets to some of our major online guaranteed tournaments.
Every night at 19:00 CET / 18:00 BST from the 1st - 15th of October we will host a "$150K Giveaway" tournament with some awesome prizes. The tournaments are all free to enter if you hold a ticket; actually you can only enter them if you do hold a ticket. To enter all 15 Giveaway tournaments, for the maximum chance to take home one or several of the great prizes, you will need 15 tickets.
How do you collect tickets?
Well that is easy, simply opt in below and for each day that you collect 50 Player Points or more between 15th of September - 7th of October, we will credit your account with one "$150K Giveaway Tournament" ticket which you can use to enter any Giveaway tournament of your choice. How many tickets you wish to collect (15 Max), and which prize tournaments you would like to enter is completely up to you.

All tournaments have a different prize pool value, and each tournament depending of prizes will most certainly attract a smaller or bigger playing field. It is down to strategy, will you use your ticket to enter a tournament with a bigger prize, or will you enter a tournament which is easier to cash in? Well poker is skill, and the skill is yours.

Football Weekend Package ($2,500): Player"s choice - Tell us where you wish to go, and which team you would like to see and we will arrange it for you within the stated prize value. If Betfair Poker for any reason whatsoever are unable to get tickets for the chosen football game the winning player has to choose a different game to which tickets are available. Betfair Poker will do their best to secure tickets to the winning player"s first choice. The package can be exchanged for a cash prize of $1500 (60% of prize value).
GSOP Grand Final-Seville Package ($5,000): The package includes a buy-in of $3300 to the GSOP Live event which is held at Casino Aljarafe in the cultural city of Seville, Spain from 13th - 16th of April, 2011. The package also includes accommodation at Hotel Alcora (12th - 17th of April), a Welcome Party Invitation and some spending money. The package can be exchanged for a cash prize of $3000 (60% of prize value).
Football Shirt Voucher ($100 at kitbag.com): Details about the voucher will be sent to the winning players via email. Please ensure your contact email address is up to date. The voucher cannot be exchanged for cash.
Online Tournament Tickets: All ticket prizes will be credited to the players account within 48 hours after each Giveaway tournament is completed. The tickets are valid for 30 days and cannot be exchanged for cash or entry into another tournament. If the winning player does not use the ticket within 30 days he/she forfeits the right to the prize.

Just to clarify Player Points are calculated as follows :-
Player Points are earned by all players simply by playing real-money cash games and tournaments.
* Cash games: receive 3.25 Player Points for every dollar contributed in rake
* Tournaments: receive 5 Player Points for every dollar contributed in fees
In cash games Player Points are awarded based upon the rake contributed to each pot. 3.25 Player Points are awarded for every dollar contributed in rake. For example, if a player contributes 0.4 dollars in rake, he will be awarded 1.3 Player Points (0.4 x 3.25 = 1.3).
In tournaments Player Points are awarded based upon tournament fees. For every dollar taken in fees, five Player Points are awarded. For example, by participating in a $5 + 0.50 tournament, that player would receive 2.5 Player Points (0.50 x 5 = 2.5).
