is this morally wrong?

BioBlinx:
That rule changed with the introduction of the new gaming legislation that recently came into effect. You no longer get disqualified if you"re not at your seat for the begining of the tournament. You just get blinded off until you either turn up, or you lose all your chips to the blinds.

As much as I love Apat too, this is a no brainer...good luck in the big event, i suspect you"ll get a few apater"s railing. What an opportunity, nice one and good luck!

As for apat, I would say if they"re going to overlap a fair bit then best to forget it and focus on the big one, you don"t want to rush any decisions cos you"re feeling some stress to get to the apat event or cos it"s in the back of your mind.
If you"re positive they won"t overlap too much then just get yourself into a nice hotel in manchester (check for wifi first lol and no cheap stuff, want you sitting relaxed in a nice atmosphere), play your big tourney then when that"s finished, head to g casino  ...  (and give me all your chips cos your head will be elsewhere :-) )
Simple  ;D

ThePiranha:
it was a comp i qualififed for a few months ago thru titan poker. guaranteed $25k even if i come last. $200k for the winner and only 20 runners. there is a breakdown of prizes throughout. its so sick, i cant wait!!!

starts 3pm sat 8th and i expect it to last 2 maybe 3 hours, but i want to play both. can you now understand my dilemma!!

Ignore the APAT event.  They"ll be others.

You won"t get an internet connection at the casino, you won"t be guaranteed to have a perfect internet connection in a hotel.

To be honest, if I was playing in that Titan tournament, I"d make sure I had a backup broadband connection as well as my usual one.  I"d get hold of one of those 3G dongle things (just in case).  I"d also have a backup computer at hand, again just in case.  You"re talking about laddering up from £12K to £100K - to me that"s a LOT of money.  The investment in the backup hardware is a good investment IMHO.  Anyone who plays regularly for substantial amounts of money online should have backup options, and it"s the same in this one off case.

Definitely drop all thoughts of possibly playing in the UK event.  It"ll only distract you.
