Maylis Boardman has a message for Martyn Sharp

"Sorry I can"t be there this weekend. Just this once you won"t be able to huddle conspiratorially near the mixing desk with me discussing shoes, make up and how on earth James Edwards is still in. Perhaps this means you might win this time? Good luck Martyn"

Gollum has a message for Steve Roderick

"Here I am my precious, on my other favourite Rock. What a great run you are having my precious, and I predict you"ll find the APAT ring this weekend, with another final table. Just ask that updater not to repeat the one good lookalikey he"s ever done, precious?"

Alan Whicker has a message for Paul Davis

"I followed your bloody travel instructions for Dublin and now where the hell am I? Forty years of travelling with my Amex card and never have I been so confused. Next you"ll be locking my threads on www.whicker.com/forums. Good luck this weekend Paul. Lets hope they are playing Five card Lowball draw stripped deck Jacks are wild somewhere in the Fitz. Your edge in that game is legendary. Unlike your links to train timetables".

Dear Alan,

I am terribly sorry you have been unable to follow our simple instructions for travelling to Dublin. I can assure you that these have been awarded the Crystal Mark from the Plain English Commission and, to date, we have had no complaints even from the usual groups of drunks, dyslexics and fish who usually follow them.

I regret that you were unable to follow the links to the railway timetables but I delegated those to my "Railway Asssitant", T Kendall but it would appear that he has let me down. Sometime you just can"t get the staff.

I thank you for your best wishes for the weekend and whilst I am, indeed, well versed in the game you mentioned, I feel that you are overlooking my pwnage of Pot Limit Double Flop Omaha Hi/Lo Blood River. I realise that the last element I mentioned might be unknown to you but simply stated..if either river card is red..you keep peeling (and betting) until a black card is turned. Two 7 or 8 card boards are not uncommon.

I have suggested this as an option for APAT Coventry but Mr R Prew...someone not unknown to you...is me giving trouble over the structure.

I hope you make it on time.

Paulie

David Moyes has a message for Carl Lybert

"Carl. I am sorry I can"t be with you this weekend. I know you are fifth in the 2010 national rankings and chasing the title. I know you are on a great run of form and I know you have more chance of winning than Everton have of scoring two goals this weekend. Yes, look at me, two goals. That"s all I ask. I was the great white hope, future manager at Old Trafford, and now look at me....Struggling. Don"t be like me, run good. Cheers David"
