Mixed Up
The end of the trip is fast approaching and although I have met some objectives and missed more than a few others, I had been hoping to get into the regular 3/6 Limit Mixed Game that used to run every Sunday at the old IP.
Unfortunately, from what I hear, due to the renovations going on and the consequent move of the IP poker room to the third floor it hasn't been particularly well supported in recent times.
Thus. I was pleased to read on Twitter (from my Vegas Tweeps) that an effort was being made to get it up and running at TI instead. My evenings entertainment was, therefore, set.
That, however, left the afternoon and, to be honest,with the way I was feeling (and still limping) I just mooched about in a few places killing time until the game started. What I SHOULD have done, if I'd thought of it was take in another movie but instead I cabbed over to TI in good time but sat in the poker room for a while until the game finally got off the ground about an hour late and short handed.
Quite disappointing really but you play what you can when you can get it.We played a full rotation of the 10 maddening games which took about 3 hours. When we have a full table a full rotation wil take 4 - 5 hours. I sat in for a few more games but around midnight I called it quits (when we were 4 handed) and cabbed back to the MC.
I was still awake, even though I should have gone straight to bed, so I succumbed to my vices and sat down at a Pai Gow table...and ran typically bad.
Thirty minutes was enough to deprive me of $150 plus the $40 I'd dropped at TI....yep, time for bed.
Turn out the lights, the party's over.

Ger has some words of encouragement while I was in the doldrums during my extended Vegas excursion..."Strength and Honour".
Purely on the off-chance I investigated the cost of that as a .com domain (I have a few lying around that only cost a few pounds a year).
According to GoDaddy, strengthandhonour.com is a Premium Domain Name and is available for £1,226.21.
