It"s a long road to recovery John.
Ever since that AK v AK hand at Luton in season 3, where that luckbox Stu Ward flopped the nut flush, my game has been in tatters. I"m taking it one step at a time.
I did play the Sky Poker event in Swansea back in February last year. I was foolish, it was way too soon to get back at the tables. Every hand I played, I just pictured my opponent flopping the nuts, and would look up and they would morph into this bearded bloke grinning back at me. It was horrible.

Outplayed IMO.

Wp Leigh, nice cash.
Just sorry to disappear as you sat down!
Glad you got some chips from that table full of Scandies!!
I"d frittered my stack down from 18k to 7k when you arrived.
KQs on the button IS a monster!!
Keep up the blog. Good reading.
Bob.
Chipaccrual:
I"ve been playing on SkyPoker a bit lately, looking to help support the tie in that Blonde Poker has going at the moment.
I struggle to go deep in the tourneys on there. It"s the most rollercoaster of a site that I play on. Behind on the flop, ahead on the turn, lose on the river. (Or vice-versa)
Played the bountyhunter tonight. Blinds 50/100. UTG raise to 300 (playing 1900), I shove for 1400 with AA, player makes the call and shows T9os.
Nine on the flop, ten on the river, and I"m gone. You just can"t play against that sort of thing.
Obviously, you want the call. Really, you do, but there just aren"t enough decent tourneys on Sky to allow you to get that variance back in a short enough time to stop you from tilting to another site.
Considering that most of the major tourneys on the site are 6 handed, I"m amazed at the hands that keep cropping up, and players can"t help but call with drawing hands, that usually get there.
Not really a rant, because you know what to expect before you register to play, but it"s minefield to get through. I will win one though, just got to keep trying. ;D
