Just played a tourney on 888poker. Built up a nice stack to 11k, a bit of luck with AA v KK holding. ;D
Then manage to lose the lot in four hands
K8 v 33 King on flop, lose to runner runner flush
74 v AT Four on flop, lose to runner runner straight
J3 v Q9 Three on flop, lose to runner runner straight
Forced allin next hand with QT, up against AA which rivers quads.
Don"t think this new site like me very much. ::)

Live and On the Road Again
Tomorrow sees the second of my live events this year. 100% cashing record so far, but this one is a totally different animal.
The Sky Poker Tour being held at Luton G Casino. 160 runners with 5k starting stacks. Blinds are up every 30 minutes, with the whole thing done in a day.
Tighty set up the structure, so it has as much play as possible, but every one of these I"ve played before seems like an absolute whirlwind of a tourney. Great fun though, and a chance to catch up with both Tighty and Tikay.
On my way up to Luton, I"m going to stop off in Wokingham and see my best mate and his wife who have just become parents. Lauren Brooke Badger was born on Monday morning, and when I spoke with him on Tuesday he sounded in a complete daze with it all. What have they let themselves in for ?
We"ve done the usual thing and got them a gift to celebrate their brilliant news. No point in getting the baby anything at the moment, so went for some gifts for the parents. A very nice plant for the new mum (Jen"s sorted that), and a bluray player and copy of The Pacific on Bluray for the new dad. That"s what mates are for. ;)
Tomorrow should therefore be a cracker. Also cramming in a horrible clash of Wales v Ireland and Man U v Ar5enal. Why can"t the schedulors keep these sort of games apart. Very annoying.
I"ll report back on the weekends poker on my return, but chances are I may be back for the start of the APAT Weekend Saver Comps on 888poker based on my previous efforts in the SPT.

And forgot to mention, sorted my next few live events.
April - BlackBelt Poker Live at The Vic, London
May - DTD Grand Prix III, Nottingham
It"s getting tough to pick events that don"t clash with APAT weekends. I see that 888poker have some link with the LPC Deepstacks, so might try and satellite into one of those somewhere down the line.
Oh, and live event in November is now a given. It"ll be STATESIDE. ;D

In my head I was going anyway, with APAT holding an event there it just makes even more sense. Already have expenses sorted from win last month at the Fox Club, so just need to finalise some dates and get Tighty to confirm a venue really.
