Actually, probably not, but throughout all my time with APAT, and through all our different sponsors and deals, I have always played on Pokerstars, so latest link up is fantastic and means we can talk about everything Stars without feeling we are cheating on APAT.
What a great world it is. ;D

Grow Your Own 1
One of the benefits of moving house is that we now have a much bigger garden than before. Jen and I have tried to grow the odd bit of veg in our old house, but I don"t think city centre living helped much.
After spending quite a bit of time clearing the garden, during which time I have raised concerns about how much Jen enjoys chopping stuff up and burning it :o , we"ve decided on a plot to grow your own.
This is a great spot as it should stay in the sun for nearly all of the day and sits on a raised bank between our driveway and the Wimborne Estate fields next door. There"s a bit more clearance to finish off, where I am on a one man mission versus the evil that it brambles.
Jen was reading last night how Alan Titchmarsh recommends using a flame gun when dealing with brambles (again, her enthusiasm on this point does slightly worry me)
It is tempting to go and hire one. ;D
Anyway, once the clearance is finished, I have the job of building two 2.4m x 1.2m raised beds, ready for planting. There"s plenty of room up there to add more if needed, although as Jen pointed out, there is only the two of us and two dogs (although they pretty much eat any fruit and veggies).
So, what will we grow ?
Asparagus, Green Beans, Lettuce, Leeks, Peas, Radishes, Onions, Potatoes, Carrots, Parsnips.
That"s still to be decided, but whatever happens, I"ll post some pics. I"ve a feeling it could be like when people post up pictures of their newly born babies, except I"ll be posting up freshly picked baby carrots. :D

If there are any green fingered APATers out there (a slim hope amongst poker players, I know), we"d love to hear any advice or tips that you may have.

Nice one Leigh - what an opportunity!! My garden is almost totally given over to football pitch, badminton court, or whatever the current game of desire is for the kids, so no space for a veggie patch. I have a small portable greenhouse though, and that gets filled with chillies and peppers - all good fun.
As for advice and ideas.........

If you"re getting green fingers Leigh, I"d also go for a greenhouse - sounds like you"ve got plenty of room for one.
Last year I grew peppers, chillies, tomatoes, marigolds, sweet peas, poppies, surfinias, dahlias and much more. Not much veg admittedly, but I had some really colourful borders and hanging baskets.
