Nice. Definitely a sweet feeling when you"re all set to head home and then the comeback begins! Been working on my shortstack game a lot the last year and improved no end. Got lucky in this case but it"s nice to have "short stack ninja" in your arsenal and i"ve had a few decent cashes over the last year by getting it right. My good friend Andy Duncan is still the best short stack player i know and there"s definitely more to it than most think and it"s an area i used to sorely lack in .

Particularly love this bit of your post by the way :

"Horror upon horror, the broke the table up at that very moment. I struggled to carry my 3 chips over to table 4 seat 1,"

:)

So, the moral of the story is, it is possible to come back from the dead. Having seen Carl Lybert come back from 2 and a bit BBs last year in APAT Cardiff to take second i knew it was but never actually come back from so low before so figured i"d ramble on about it on here rather than bore the wife!  :)

Nice result Andy, well done...!!!

You were almost right... I had 3000 chips after my accident and the blinds were 6000 with a 500 ante..!!  And.. It was Swansea, lol

That"s cos he gets lots of practise, having folded his way to the short stack so many times :D ;)
