S5 APAT English Online Championship 2011

There was at least one abusive player at our table as well. Are there any APAT players actually offended by this? It seems to me that these guys just expose themselves as immature idiots to everyone else at the table. Most of the time its a sure fire way of spotting a complete fish. :D

I doubt it matters to many of us if the tournament is an APAT event or a random event as to what we do in this situation. What actually matters is who the other player is.

Hmm, personally that makes all the difference. In a normal online tourney against randoms i"m clicking away and taking every chip i can get as it"s all about the money. In an APAT i wouldn"t want to know i"d won the title through anything other than playing better than them.

This 100%
If I believe the other person would wait if the situation was the other way around (if it was someone from APAT/someone I knew and I think they would do the same) then I"d wait, if it"s a complete random I"d obv just blind them away.
Quite sad to see this happen when both people were APAT members but there you go.

The problem with the solution you suggest is that I can"t be stuffed, especially as it wasn"t aimed at me.

There"s the issue...it don"t mean much if you"re not willing to take action.
I freely admit, I"ve never used the report option (even if I could find it on 888) and probably wouldn"t even if it was aimed at me...I"ve got a thick skin (obviously) but others don"t.
"If you"re not part of the solution...you"re part of the problem"*
* I don"t know who said that but it fits.

I don"t think that quote fits at all actually. A few players have made APAT aware of it so APAT can "take action" if it deems it appropriate. It"s just an irritant, but the truth is "it don"t mean much", as you say.

Totally agree Col,dos"nt bother me at all, but to any new members it might put them off apat events.
