DRESS CODE

Clean and tidy dress is strongly recommended.  The dress code is smart casual. No football tops and no hoodies on the gaming floor, but jeans are fine.

Is this correct? Never had a problem last year at the APAT wearing a hoody, nor at the UKIPT. Has the dress code changed recently?

IM TAKING A HOODIE.

To answer a couple of points.

Hoodies are generally OK (I wear one there occasionally) but just don"t walk into the casino reception wearing it over your head or whilst on the gaming floor otherwise they won"t like it. But in the card room is fine.

The 4.30 comp used to be a "deep and steep", ie chip throwing contest though I"ve never played it so cannot confirm it still is.

The Friday comp is not normally dealer dealt but they might (and I stress might) have some extra dealers on as they know extra players from APAT will turn up. They may be training a couple ready for the Saturday as well and even that"s better than self deal.

I"ll email Ruben and ask him and I"ll post the reply on here.

Reply back from Karl the card room supervisor. Sadly it will NOT be dealer dealt on Friday.

"Hi Dave,

It was something we wanted to do however due to the demand of the APAT
weekend tournament and shift patterns, putting a dealer dealt tournament on
the Friday night was not possible.

The usual cash games/Sit and Go"s will be available on demand throughout
the weekend.

Thanks,

Karl Johnson

Cheers. Thought that was the case.
