How many APAT National Champions are playing tomorrow?

Daniel Phillips. Won the first ever APAT event at the Broadway. Confounded the sceptics when only four years later he won a second major tournament, the DTD Deepstack.

Current Chip Stack: 10,000. Typically slow progress

Andy Kingan. Won in Austria. Amidst the smokey tables, the black decor and the Orange Wings. Beat Martin Kalser who went on to win a WSOP bracelet

Current Chip Stack: 10,000. Andy is in the bar

Tim Magnus. Welsh Champion. APAT finalist since. Seeking qualification for the Welsh Poker team, due to absence of other local alternatives for the captains in the Home Internationals

Current Chip stack 10,000. Tim is in Jeldon Fernandes" pocket.

John Murray. A 2010 winner in London ahead of Alan Lake and Mr "Swim in a water feature" Don Roberts.

Current Chip Stack 10,000. John is busy sourcing an APAT venue in Worthing for 2015

Darren Shallis. Irish winner in Season 3 (2?) and seven time APAT finalist. Darren is half Welsh. After the football tomorrow he may admit to this, but most likely won"t

Current Chip stack 10,000. Darren is currently doing Gollum impressions behind Steve Roderick"s back

Tod Wood. English Championships winner at Luton last October. The BCPC "D" Team"s third best player hopes to achieve the double.

Current Chip Stack 10,000 Tod is currently trying to ignore Brian Yates.

Further updates from Coventry....

Phil TC has dyed his hair in Coventry colours and is currently getting some very strange looks from the residents of Bruges.

Steve Roderick is curled up in a corner stroking his gold medal and mumbling something about his "precious".

James Edwards is reading Murray Walkers biography to see if he can glean some commentating tips.

Rupinder Bedi was our chip leader with 14000784356 chips but is now back down to 1200 after losing a big pot to Steve "Luckbox" Redfern when Redfern raised, Bedi 3 bet, Redfern 4 bet, Bedi 5 bet, Redfern 6 bet, Bedi 7 bet, Redfern 8 bet, Redfern 9 bet, Bedi went all in and Redfern called with Redferns 6-2 Spades being an underdog to Bedis 8-3os. One spade on the flop gave Redfern his chance and he took it down with spades on the turn and river.

Leigh brought in a Cray supercomputer to try and calculate Scouse and Owstons bar tab but gave in when smoke started pouring out of the back.

Tighty is still waiting patiently at the head of the buffet queue.

Ant Williams has been knocked out again when he was done for cheating when his Royal Flush held up and it was deemed that based on past APATs that was just not possible.

and me, well, i"m still trying to figure out what to do with my first hand....
