I don"t think I played the HORSE last year but in general it SHOULD work like this....
Blind Levels increase every 30 minutes.
Each game is played for 1 rotation (usually 8 hands depending on table sizes) before changing to the next.
The two things aren"t connected although it does generally work out to 1 game per level.
Does that make sense?

A game is played for one round, then the game moves to the next variant..irrespective of clock. the clock goes up every 30m
Last year"s played til 2am Tuesday morning. Someone got left on point duty updating it.
The structure makes for a fine game.

And the year before that was a 4am finish with the notorious Jon MW versus Andrew T heads up that went on and on and on and on and on...........................
