They need 32 dealers for round 1, they use 2 dealers per table to keep the game running.

Is that not 2 dealers per table because there are 2 games on each table?
seems a great service to have 2 dealers per game

Last year there was only one dealer at the table in the first round.
This changed in the second round where two dealers per game were employed, I suppose to speed things up, but I do know that a few players would have preferred only the one dealer...
