Well done all, good turn out, if we keep the numbers up should be a good season

WP all, gg.

Apologies to Adicricket1 who was sat on my right early in the match. I was forced to three bet you on two occasions because I had the nuts... Obviously I couldn"t fold, so I was hoping that the three bet would be a big enough hint (which it was). Had I been up against a player from another team, I would have played the hands differently and taken more chips. I wanted to clarify this as it must have looked like I was being an arse at the time.

Ian (and all Leeds players),

Thanks for posting that here Ian but please be assured that there is no problem however you choose to play against another Leeds player.

Softplay and collusion is against APAT rules and I would like to keep our club "clean". This means we will have occasions where players knock out teammates, but so be it.

I know Dean knocked out at least 1 Leeds player last night and you could argue that those chips helped him win it therefore the eliminated player helped the club indirectly.

Other teams have declared that it is a "team game" and therefore think softplay is OK. They have also chosen to define softplay in a way that somehow makes it acceptable.

For as long as I remain Captain we will abide by the APAT rules (not our version of them).

Well played team. Was a tad uncomfortable sitting on my hands with all 5 of us on same table at one point and I ended up rivering a team mate when I shoved short stacked with AT. Was close at the end cos the 2 Irish guys were running good but we got the job done.

deanp27:
I"ll just add that I have absolutely no problem with another Leeds player playing a pot with me or calling a shove etc. I think playing too soft actually helps other teams as we end up with loads of shortstacks rather than players who will go on and take the top places. Especially when we have over half the table, it"s unavoidable.
