The Specialist Series on Sundays don"t carry ranking points
The World Championship Side Events in August do though.

The side-events were originally brought in last season to give people a reason to stay, and those who were already staying something to do, but they have become quite popular and I think it is time that the awarding of points to them was reviewed. The online side-events receive points, as do the live ones held at DTD but not those held elsewhere, which seems pretty inequitable.
