So they are playing for a £3,625 first prize, a UKIPT seat and the trophy and gold medal. Significant media exposure too, lets not forget
Who are our intrepid Day Two survivors?
In chip count order
Andrew Harrison 156100.
Newcastle player, who was in the top few stacks from mid evening
Ben Young 151800
Reigning APAT WCOAP champion. Surprised all observers yesterday by staying awake long enough to amass a stack
Paul Davis 118000
APAT Mod, travel guru and Wifi provider. Now a serial day Two APAT player. Best so far is a Bronze at Walsall in 2006.
Andies Sanchez 98800
Not Spanish. From Newcastle though
Gareth Walker 97700
UKIPT Nottingham winner from earlier this year. Newcastle resident. Going for a prestigious double

Mark Langdale 84900
Newcastle Player. Doesn"t like Alan Pardew much
Robert Dunbar 84400
Newcastle Player. Rates Chris Hughton highly
David Pilkington 82200
A very irritating cashman. Would be a disatrous result for us, to be fair. Good luck David
Andrew Blair 78300
Tony"s cousin, from Sedgefield. Hopes to wield his own weapon of chip stack destruction on others today
Paul Mallett 67900
First alternate into the field. Bankrolled by Dad, Timmy.
Richard "Curlarge" Baker 67000
Another APAT Day Two for Richard, one of only two Richard Bakers in the field. Looking to add to his collection of google self-images
Hugh Frew 59500
Newcastle veteran with a mint name
JP Round 49100
Jean Paul from Northampton, another APAT regular.
Shug Cairnie 42200

John Littlewood 31200
Hoping to scoop the Pools today
Ian Dawson 30600
Newcastle
Michael Carr 29200
Newcastle
Lee Hickson 25100
