I like this idea also.

As I have already mentioned elsewhere, it"s these early national events that I can"t get to rather than not wanting to get to and I"m sure there are many others who will end up in that situation. A credit for a seat at a future event sounds like a great solution to many problems.

Will it have an expiry date?  For example, will it have to be used within the same season?

APAT:
It would be more appropriate to offer the credit against the next four UK based events of similar entry value.  That should give plenty of choice in terms of dates, event and location.  It would also ensure any players receiving a credit towards the end of the season are able to redeem against the early events of the following season also.

It"s good for me - but in a wider context I would hope that there remained an option for a refund for those who only wanted to play the Regionals and not the Nationals, so as not to exclude anybody from the APAT regionals.

I qualified for Cardiff at Newcastle. Looking forward to attending, but may not be able to do so. If i was to be offered a seat into the next national in Edinburgh i would gladly give up my seat NOW, therefore creating another happy clickfester tonite. I would hate to have to wait to confirm my availability until the new year whilst keeping someone on the edge of their seat for a lengthy period of time.

so how about it Des ? maybe it"s too early to be implemented but if this is likely to happen then i will give my seat up now
