I think we are forgetting that this is the AMATEUR  poker tour at times , i for one make many of these mistakes, and in no way claim to be a good player, indeed i have been called fish , donk many things in the past , but i enjoy the events ,and the people , which makes it all fun.

and the main thing for me is that it is affordable buy-ins , making it available to a lot of us.

Many may disagree , but this is just my tupence worth

And wonder why you have been bust by a random who called down your large all in bluff with bottom pair. I"ll save that for the weekly events. I would prefer a higher standard of player in a two day event in all honesty.

Lesson to learn - don"t try and bluff the fish. I still don"t understand why you would prefer to play a field with a higher standard of player. When it comes to online table selection, do you go looking for tables full of decent regs to ensure you see some good play, as opposed to looking for tables full of easy money?

I"m talking about a two day event event - you"re going to run into better players sooner or later so I would prefer to be playing against better opposition in an event like this to test myself and make it more of an achievement.  I only play live tournaments, I don"t typically play online or sit"n"gos anyway.
Also, fish get lucky too - if you are moved to a new table mid way through a tournament and figure most of the "fish" are gone and have an opponent with a good stack on a weak hand, you may well be prepared to pull the trigger to win a large pot only to find out then that they are inexperienced and the good stack they have come by was purely down to luck and bad calls which they have just made.

By that time if your not quick enough, there is already a queue...cos you just know,he will donate...

It"s like a mini chip machine..about to pay out...lol

Fish always get lucky in the short term...if you can"t stand the variance, get out of the kitchen. ;D
