Perfectly understandable - sometimes people have seen James Bond in a casino wearing a dinner jacket & bowtie and think that is compulsory. It isn"t - a normal suit and tie is totally acceptable nowadays.

Re: the stampede at 9pm on Thursday. I might not be in, but have the flight and hotel all booked up. I sense that this year one can register the next day and still get in (not like the old "clickfests"), although I think the capacity for the Glasgow event is smaller.

On the evidence of previous events this season you are right

Tricky to say, only 120 capacity at Glasgow. Meant to be lots of local interest

I would imagine you"d have 48 hours or so to buy in, if I had to put my left leg on the outcome
