I"m one of the missing players Rich - you"ve 3 or 4 from down my area as I"ve been encouraging folk to play & then I"ve went & run short of funds. Will try to buy in before the cut-off date, but a week later would see me hitting payday & I could buy in no bother.

I agree with boywonder the standard of player willing to part with £75 on the day to be honest is not the best to say the least !! These players are used to cheap wham bam thankyou mam style of poker events you get in most casinos in Glasgow. Those who are willing to travel some distance in some cases to play the APAT events are looking to avoid these kind of players that could ruin such a well organised event as this one ! I"d opt for less players with a higher standard everytime!

better to play a 150 runner tourney in which two thirds of the field don"t have a clue, as opposed to a field of 50 sharks!!
