A bit out of touch here but what is a redraw...?

--- End quote ---

A redraw is when you have the best hand and it gets outdrawn - If you have outs to still win, it is called a redraw,

A perfect example would indeed be the hand where the term was used

it was AK v QJss on a A s s flop. Grant hit the As to out draw the pair of Aces but the AK had 10 to make a full house or better.

That would be outdrawn IMO apretty sure a redraw is a made hand that has a draw to an even better hand?? anyone care to clarify?

Grant FTW :D

No, Rob"s description is absolutely spot on. The best hand gets out-drawn, then has a re-draw to become the best hand again. The classic being when a set gets it all in against a flush draw on the flop, the flush hits on the turn only for the set to "house-up" on the river
