ThinkerJE:
Partypoker NLHE Deepstack 85 players left - money starts at 80

Not been at the table for that long - so no opinions formed on the player styles/ranges

Blinds 500/1000 ante 100

UTG +1 bets 2,500 out of 50k stack
Hijack 3 bets to 6k out of 18k stack
Button flats 6k out of 27k stack
Your hero is BB with QQ and 14k behind

Thoughts?

AMRN:
Depends on your money situation.... if you need to cash, then I think it"s reasonable to fold here so close to the bubble..... but if playing for the win, I"m going to struggle to fold QQ with only 13x behind and a big pot in the middle.

I think I"m shoving here most of the time.

Does the fact that you are 5 from the bubble cause you to think differently? If so, how would you play this if the bubble had just burst.......?

Included it more for information purposes really Steve - as you might take it into account when considering the ranges of the other players.

I am not bothered about the min cash - just making the correct decision.

I would have done the same thing after the bubble had burst.

Utg +1 raise could be with a wide range.

HJ 3 bet for 6k of 18k is a really strong bet and often a monster, would expect he jams all 18 bb"s with his strong but not super strong holdings AK, AQ, JJ for example.

Button then comes along and flats which by sheer numbers alone make it more likely QQ is behind.

Yes we have a monster hand for our stack size but the action suggests our equity is pretty slim. We are likely to get called in at least two spots so have pot odds of ~3/1 but our equity is gonna be 30% max and as low as 18%.

I think its a sigh fold.
