I think..!!!  Everyone who wants to play all the APAT's in all locations and are based in Scotland or Ireland, should pack up their job and pack up the family and belongings and move the whole kit and kaboodle to central England. ;)

Scotland heck...I live in Essex and am thinking about it.  ;D

If it"s good enough for Barber it"s good enough for me.

Jeez we have tournaments laid on in various cities around UK, Ireland, and Europe. Some will be easier to get to than others dependant on your home location. Some will be downright impossible or impractical for some people to get to.

If we want to avoid anyone having travelling difficulty we may as well just play online!!  Alternatively, just accept that some places will be harder to get to than others, but that those places that are hard for some people to get to, will actually be easier for the locals to get to.

Aberdeen a couple of years ago - impossible for me to get to at a practical cost, so I didn"t go. Great for the locals though.

I think this is the most sensible post in the whole thread. Steve sums it up pretty well here.

Steve? Sensible? Have you seen him play poker?

What have you done with the real Redfern?

SORRY SORRY SORRY
This is worse than the Larry Murphy`s saga I started.
I was not offended by Paulie`s comments I have spent enough time in his enjoyable company to realise his comments were made in jest.
I don`t for one minute want to tell Richard or Des how to do their job as I think they should be congratulated at every opportunity for the job they do for ALL APAT members.
The point I was trying to make is that for some of us travel is difficult and at times expensive. Luton is always a good option and would have preferred it to be used for an individual championship.
Could we not go to the same place twice in a year?
I really enjoy the APAT experience and guess I am disappointed about being unable to play in so many this year. (Unless I get a late call up for a poker forum for Luton)
