Big Man,

Just got back of hols and have caught up with your reports.  I did send you a text but I guess you haven"t got your phone on.

I said you would love Vegas.  My only fear is that you won"t come back!!  If you do get chance, I would have a go at the card room at the MGM.  They have a $125 tourney on at 6pm every day (3K starting chips and a 40 min clock) which might be worth a punt.  They do have 2 tourney"s on each day but I would avoid the early one as it"s a bit mental, fewer starting chips and quicker structure.

I found the same with the varitey of players.  You can have a local pro on one side and a tourist on the other.  It does add a few more variables into each equation which doesn"t help.  Sounds like your playing well though (except for the thinker blow up ;)).  Just keep playing your game and the results will come mate.  I have every confidence in you.

Next year we will have to try and arrange a few of us (apat and home league) to take the trip out.  Especially now that Binions is providing lower buy in tourney"s.  Having said that though, can you imagine Dougal in Vegas, I think we might lose him?!?

Anyway, time to go.  Keep pluggin" away dude and bring it home.

May all your cards be lucky and your pots be monsters!

Sharpy

P.S.  There is a playboy bar/club at the Palms!  Check it out!

Thanks mate, hope you well, see you at the next home game.

Do you have to pay tax on your winnings?

When (I"m thinking positive for you) you cash in your WSOP event I"m sure you"ll be pleased to know that Harrahs seem to have cleaned up their act on the ITIN tax front. It"s very dull and appears to involve several seemingly identical forms all being filled out in triplicate and triple checked, before a bit more form filling and some more checking - but the boredom is the only bad bit, it"s essentially easy and hassle free.

Hi James... You won"t see me at Binions today, after winning $300 in the $1/$2 cash game at Gold Coast last night, I decided on the $330 NLHE at the Venetian.

Definitely Binions tomorrow for the $100 NLHE.

Cheers, Alan
