I would just like to thank all of the players who participated in both divisions of the APAT Online National League in season five. Close to two hundred players actually scored points for their clubs, which shows how well supported the league has been over the course of the season.
We owe a huge debt of gratitude to James and Ian who managed the league on a day to day basis for a job very well done. To Leigh also of course, who was a driving force in the setting up and management of the league up to his departure in September.
We look forward to being back stronger than ever in season six!

Cheers Des , pass on thanks to JB and Ian for sorting out leagues .
As for season 6 whatever you do to tweak it please do not give Bri Yates any more players as he got birmingham players last year (2 div 1 teams including champions) and everyone else got nothing or very few extra players from teams with little players dissolved. They steam rolled it this year please please please dont give them any more !!!

A major discussion on the Season Six Online National League is taking place as we speak and I think we"ll have something very exciting to put on the table when the final details are agreed. I really want us to be able to put details of the League out before Christmas so we"re pushing on.

Des,
as per your email, I agree that there is no harm in bringing all of the teams south of Birmingham under the umbrella of the West Midlands. I think it"s a great idea.

Don"t. I just had a flashback of Leeds Holiday Inn Bar, then my train of thought moved onto Ger and hand soap.
Thanks for that. :-[

Hardly steam rolled it, not much in it!
&&&&&&&&&
We had a total of 36 players registered, of which 32 players played a part in the league at some stage, although 9 only played one game and 5 only played two games. That left us with 18 regular players, although only 14 played 9+ games, and only 2 played all 15 games. In short, when considering regular players, although we were a large club, we were actually quite a small team, and the initial registration of 36 players was a huge overstatement. "Courtesy of Steve"
And on many occasions Luton and Solent had twice as many players in some games.
Edit: Big thank you to all the team. This was my first year and really enjoyed it!
