Starts tomorrow at 7.30pm UK Time
Who is playing?
$2m g"tee for the winner - 50,000 runners is the break even figure.
They are limiting the field to 80,000.
Looks like 13/14 hours to the final table.
At 50,000 runners - 6383 paid ...

I"m playing.
Managed to satellite in earlier today at a cost of about $60 ;D
See you on the final table :P
-
Im playing a sat tomorrow so hopefully be there!!
On a side note im looking to buy a small piece of players (proven players) not sure if im allowed to post that here, if not i apologise but looking to buy 4% share on a 75/25 basis.... (75 to me obv :D)
-
Am in like Flynn. Hope to go one better this time
-
I"m in, will settle for being second to Rob :)
-
In ! And am hoping will miss college tommorrow !
-
I"m in - binked a seat for $215! All meetings cancelled tomorrow in desperate anticipation :)
-
Also playing. Won my seat for $60 earlier in the week and been looking forward to it ever since. 10,000 chips, 15 minute blind, 2 million first place, now that"s an online tournament :-D Took tomorrow morning off, that is my degree of confidence...... ha ha. Good luck all!
-
Attempting to Sat in now. Will consider direct buy-in if I fail.
-
Less than 6 mins for the first 100 players to be eliminated ... 250BBs ...
-
GL everyone playing this. Gonna be sick watching the final table. Probably happening lunchtime tomorrow.
-
Due to a mixture of failure to satellite in and a dodgy internet connection here at home for past week or so, I"ve decided just to rail Sir_Percival, Swinebag, harrierz, H-Man81 and Honeybadg. I don"t know Scouse3465"s Stars name or he would be in a 6th window too.
GL ALL!
-
Break 1!
1046 players have failed to last 25 mins ...
In that time I have had one hand failing to spike my 55 ... so 890 chips down ...

Oh no! added pressure! ;D
1st break - 13,360
or 3456/49212 ;D
-
Just gone over the 50k player mark - Gtd made. I reckon the 80k cap could be reached with 3 hours late reg.
-
Not a great start when I lost 700 chips first hand and then even though I have never had internet connection issues since I moved into my new flat over a month ago, I lost connection for 15 minutes!! Back on now and won couple of hundred chips back, onwards and upwards!!
-
Late reg has just ended for the $11 satellite I just played (1,000 Seats GTD) brought in 36k runners so now 1,689 seats guaranteed.
Just hit 52k (+ at least 1,698) as I type ...
-
Wish I could play this :(
Good luck guys.
-
George2Loose playing it too - no surprise there! And 8 other tourneys on Stars :D so we shouldn"t expect too many updates from him ...
And George2Loose has also sat"d into same Sunday Million from the $11 satellite I played in :) Keep running good Sir!

Just butchered this one - opinions please.
Flatted in BB with AK to keep pot small oop against a LAGgy player. Hit TPTK and check/called flop and turn, again not wanting to play a big pot here. River puts an inside str8 draw out there, and I make a small (poss too small) blocker bet hoping to look like QQ. He raises pretty quickly. I think he flats my blocker with AA, a set, or two pair hands.... so his raising range on the end is Q or nothing. I don"t think he c-bets turn with QJ/AQ, so range is down to KQ/QQ/air.
Call on the end?
Play it differently on earlier streets?

Great work Stu
I am having the weirdest time on my super tight table ... we did manage to lose a player two poker pairs going to war but very lilttle action otherwise.
One short stack to mop up but need some action soon as on 8565 chips ...

-
I"ve been around the 10K mark since I started. Peaked at about 11K. Now only got 8.7K
Had a 45K chipstack on our table but recently lost 10K with JJ v QQ
-
Was down to 6k after the AK debacle.... back up to 10k now. 90 minutes to get to starting stack :)
-
Board got really bad for u steve. i play it the same early on but maybe fold river once he raises.

There"s about 8000 players that would be happy with starting stack right now.
Stick in.

Grrrrr.....
I keep getting AJ
I keep raising
I keep getting called
I keep missing
I keep making a continuation bet
I keep getting called or re-raised
I keep losing chips!
I can see a pattern.
Down to 6K.

Bokked.
Raised UTG with 88, call from the BB. Flop 764, BB checks, I cbet half pot, he raises slightly more than min..... I fold here most of the time, but with the gutshot draw to go with the overpair I call. Turn another 4 - so I have counterfeited a top two hand, and any flopped str8 will find it tough to call a shove..... he leads out half pot and I shove..... and he has 66. the end. :(
-

I did fold, but only after using up the timebank.... was a really reluctant fold.

They are 7 handed now discussing a deal. The usual sunday million finishes around now, crazy how not much difference in ammount of time taken considering over 60k runnners.
-
OMG, the next guy out takes $255k, and the shortstack (tunafish919) is beign offered $550k but he wants to play on caus hes a doubble up from average. LOL what a crazy *******.
ive just looked at tunafish919 on OPR and he isnt even a winning player if you count reebuys.

Also watching it.
Sick negotiating skills, wonder if 2nd from last is going to complain about getting less and start the talks all over again?
-
Serously, getting up to see final was well worth it for the deal arguments. SSOOOO funny.
Two other guys actually offered too take money ($30k each) from their payment and give it to him. LOL
1 guy only has $1k in winnings before today, non of the remaning players are big winners either before this,
-
OMG!
Stars forgot to take out the $200k for the winnner in the first round of figures.
Now the talks start over again - lol
-
tunafish - total muppet (but pretty damned good negotiating skills give that as the short stack he ended up with more than the guy above him!)
-
I have never seen such a moron on the sunday million final table, (well since i7axa) , They were offering him $370k extra when hes the shortie, and it took 30 mins for him to finally see it was a good deal for him. Even the admin guys were getting annoyed with him.
well he got way more money than he should of. The numbers were unfair in his favour, so maybe he isnt a moron, but he is really greedy.
-
I"m loving him:

and he got his double up second hand in after the deal was done.
edit: and then binks a 10 with his A10 v AQ to go chip leader
-
I really hope he doesnt get the extra 200k, just for beign so greedy.
-
I really hope he doesnt get the extra 200k, just for beign so greedy.
Yes, not a desirable trait in a poker player.
-
not the best call in the BB with 22..... but I guess it"s only $200k at stake, and that probably feels like small change right now :)
-
Tunafish = Sharkbait!!
First-Eagle - what a time to go on a hot run!
-
I really hope he doesnt get the extra 200k, just for beign so greedy.
so would you insta agree on ICM Will?
not sure if I would.
OK, I might not go about it the same way but if a little pause might earn me $50k or so is that greedy? I guess it"s easy when watching, at the time I said he should insta agree and if it came to it I probably would.
-
I watched it from 14 players out ... the guy that won it spikes AJ vs AQ or AK (I forget) ... would have been out for $48k instead gets an extra $1.1m ...
The Tuna - pretty neat $60k for 30 mins work ... it was getting pretty close to no deal ... classic stuff ...
-
Just re-watched the end ... So the AJ spike when dominated sets it up then AA, KK, QQ and 44 spike to destroy the final table ....
-
Just seen the payouts, how did they decide on them, was it chipcount or the ICM thing ? I do think the deal discussion are v interesting in these mega tourneys.
If I was the guy who got 996k , Id have haggled for the cool MILLION
-
It was basically ICM - but the guy whilst the shortest stack haggles an extra $60k ... unreal ...
-
It was basically ICM - but the guy whilst the shortest stack haggles an extra $60k ... unreal ...
and next place out if no deal was $255k..... his ICM offer was $550k. I don"t think I would have been risking the deal for the sake of another $60k there.

...however a few hands after the deal was struck, he was a clear chipleader with a no deal shot at £2m. I don"t think I"d ever want to be seen as anxious to lock up last place money in any deal negotiations (he wasn"t and benefitted for it).

True - albeit he could have easily been on the wrong end of the KK vs AK match up - first hand after the deal.
It was the chipleaders who were anxious so he milked them (with his giant milking machine).

I don"t think it"s greed to get the best deal possible. Very shrewd imo

Fair play to him, he got 2 guys to give him an extra 30k each, and it was funny to watch. Wish we could see whole conversation again + i missed bits of it. But next out was $255k and ICM was $550k. So i think i would probably take that extra $300k and be very happy. It really looked like the deal would be off at one point, and he just seemed to be chatting random things when everyone else was trying to discuss the deal with the admin guy, very funny.
* shrewd maybe, but it was just so commical to see chip leaders and eveyone else want a deal and then the shortstack saying no, i might doubble up and be right back in it.

Isn"t hindsight wonderful? :)
I just don"t think I could risk missing out on the extra $300k - that would be my mortgage squared off. I would hate to "no deal", then get coolered a hand or two later and depart with $255k - rather than a quarter million won, that would feel more like a third of a million lost.

when can i watch the replay of the fianl table
-
I think they put them up about a week later ...
Very interesting table and negotiation - also first player out let themselves get blinded away.

It will be on pokerstars all next week, at least once a day, or if you miss it then it will be on pokerstars TV within a few days. They will edit out all of the negotiation skills though i would think.

As predicted, they didnt really talk about the deal which is a shame IMO. Would of been nice to hear their opions of tunafish taking 1 hr of negotiation and risking $300k for an extra $60k.
