Confused!! i never berate a bad call usually as obv in the log run i cry out for these calls, but i must admit i let myself go mental after this hand, usually i just sarcastically say "nh" and move on.. just cant see the logic in the call unless he put me on bare lo draw??

I had had plenty of previous action versus the villian, he had called my all in bets with bare lo draws all tourney.. i had in fact limped into his big blind in order to trap his shove that he had done on the last 3 or 4 orbits.. i was pretty sure that my top 2 miles ahead of his range, wanted to make him pay for a lo or flush draw.. he had been open shoving hands like A57J , A498 all tourney.. dynamics of his play i think are summed up with his call just cant believe case Queen on turn..

NLO8 is just a horrible game! Hi/Lo so needs to be a pot limit game.

So, basically, you knew he was a numpty, got what you wanted and he hit.

I like it.. Have done really well over the long course, don"t see a problem with guys wanting to gamble their stack, i find if you pick you"re spots well in the long run you will come out on top,..

ul, however all in with just 2 pair most times if u get called u r behind. U got lucky to be called by a worse hand and then he got lucky to outdraw you. I think u both gambled and he got lucky.

and that"s why I say Omaha Hi/Lo should be Pot Limit as opposed to No Limit. Any edge you may have is lost to the all in gamble. I only played a couple of NLO8 tourneys, and they seem to be little more than preflop shovefests.... but it is post flop where the skill factor makes a massive difference in this game.

I"m not however with Rob on this occasion, as Carl"s post has value for him, in that he may have had the obvious pointed out to him. ie, I"m sure he won"t be shoving with two pair again? at least i hope not Carl ;D So i think it has turned out to be a little more than a bad beat story.

Thanks for the replies guys all input is appreciated :)... It may of come across as I was posting it as a bad beat, this is not the case, I just wanted thoughts on the villains thinking? Yes he had been a complete turd all tourney and I had been targeting him from this point.. I"m never folding two pair on that flop to this guy obv I play it different versus a player who has a clue. My read was infact correct as if he had any Ace in his hand he ships pre, he had done this every time HU versus me.. Ok apart from the case Q or running fives I lose in this scenario, which obv happened.. But my question was from his thinking point of view? Is it machoism and thinks because of our earlier tangles he put me on a bare lo draw because I never raised pre, thinking I had 2/4/*/* .. Thus thinking his QQ is good?
As for N/L Hi-lo yeah it can be messy :) I like both PL and NL hate FL we all have our own vices I just like the action I guess.
It has been pretty profitable for me on Stars +64% ROI mostly coming from NL.. so will continue to play it until I grow up lol
