Please note that all entrance fees will be paid out in prize money.  APAT will not retain any fee for running this event for our members.

Not true any more?

It is true

APAT does not retain a fee

The registration fee goes straight to the casino, not APAT

I thought we were kicking off at 1pm on the Sunday this season, is this just a one off because it"s a smaller field so less chips in play or was Coventry a one off or does it just depend whether the dealers can get motivated?

1pm is the plan for every event IF the casino can do it

The casino preferred not to, and I agreed as we have 120 runners so the smaller field negates the non 1pm start to an extent

Not that I plan on needing to be worried about it, but do we know if the casino will have a tourney on the Saturday evening?

It only seats 100 normally, and are adding two tables for us

So I"d say not, not big enough to run what will be 7-8 tables left for our main and another comp.

Of course, you"ll need it...Les Croupiers will no doubt have something for you.  ;D

Les Croupiers run an excellent tournament on a Saturday evening. It"s a £35+£5, 10,000 chips 30 minute clock with all the levels. Can go on all night but worth the trip if that does not bother you. Usually gets about 50 runners I believe.

Usually you can just drive straight in and out of the Red Dragon Centre car park. If you do use the car park and find that you do need to take a ticket on entry, ask the casino reception to validate your ticket before you leave the casino.

At least, this is how things used to work there.

I REALLY don"t want to know why you would ask that!  ;D
