Smaller field tonight - although it"s grown up to 150 at the break - probably many non-Scotland/non-Wales players not bothering, since it"s all wrapped up.

You seem to have got in and then out again very quickly - you weren"t in when I looked a short while before the break! :(
-
Thanks to Stuart for posting a list. I got in, finally, after numerous reboots. 4th hand I get AK suited, 3b and get flatted. Board comes A3K, I bet, guy bets over my stack, I jam, he has 33....standard rubbish! No help after that...sorry guys :(

VUL Carl, as seems to have been the case all season. You are due a big win! Thanks for all your commitment and consistency this season xx
-
sorry to say same old pokerstars, had no cards what so ever for first hour, had to push with 99 and got called with AK suited and you can guess what comes on the river
will be back whenever the next season starts
-
What I want to say about tonight"s game is written below:
.
Good luck all EoE still in.
-
Just Merkland66 and Camking left.
I will do a seperate post later this week, but briefly, thanks to all who have played this season, especially the regulars who have played week in week out despite some bad luck and a lower turnout than some of the teams. It has been a pleasure to share tables and updates with you all and only hope that I have gone a very small way to filling some very big shoes from last season!

Somebody shoved 99, I re-shoved JJ on top - river was a 9. This is really disheartening, week after week after week, the same happens. It"s not like when you"re getting donked by people playing stupidly (like at the Redtooth regional final in Northampton yesterday, where some of the play was truly astoundingly awful)
Fortunately, I had three times as many chips as him, so I"m down to 10K now, and apparently, the last EoE left.
Now, was that right that there was a last longer bet where everybody else in the team ships me $10? ::) ;D

Erm...ahem...I don"t remember that as such...but obviously you"d NEVER make that up ;)
-
Well, there was nothing I could really do about that. I had to start playing for stacks if I wanted to win
and it was the 77 < AJ that really killed me before the A9 vs A10 (which I hit and he redrew to beat me AAKK with a 10 cf. AAKK with a 9. So he had 5 outs on the river and hit one of them (as he has for the past several hands in a row), hit the 2 outer against me earlier. MBSFN.
- Technically, I think a win could have made me the top scoring English player, looking at the table - the only people I couldn"t pass were Welsh & Scots.
-
Ul...again! Standard these days really!!!!!!!
Thanks to all for playing, will pop a report post up on the page later this week! In the meantime...fancy some knockout fun?!

Loving the knockout cup idea looks like it could be fun.. :D
Dunno what you guys think, I was thinking to make it a little more "fun" obv dunno how much interest there is gonna be in this one, but perhaps we start of with say.. Putting down everyone"s name that shows interest and allocating them a number.. So I"m gonna say yes, so I will be number 1 so if Jo wants in she"s number 2 Chris wants in number 3 and so on.. If we cap it at say 16 to begin with first come first picked so to speak, but obv if demand is more 20 and so on.. Then a few days or so before it kicks off we draw the teams at random, first four names out first team and so on.. Also every one who is interested picks a name they would like for the team, and their team names are selected for a random draw in their group..
I"m sure with jo"s recruiting skills she can message all current team mates with the proposal if you guys like the idea?.. ;D
So I will get the ball rolling to see if interest is shown, I"m cool with what ever you guys think if you have a set idea of a team you would like to play in I"m more than happy if you decide you want to opt out..
