pokerstars new 5-card game.....just had to share this hand with you all.
Currently feel I am playing badly (and think I am running badly also)
How bout this one......
we are 3-handed at the Final Table and the upcard is Qc
I raise with As Qd 9c 7c Qh and get called.....flop pans out with 4h 10h
He bets, I raise, he shoves and I call........ he shows 5c Qs 10d 8s 2s for flopped 2-pair but no flush draw.....turn comes 6d and river 3h
so am I really running bad?
(By the way I came back and won the tourney ;D )

I take it this isn"t really a Q., just a bad beat ventilation thread.
However do love the game, trying to figure it out myself at the mo. Not sure how important the upcard is, if you are around at DTD today, we can have a meeting of minds on it if you want.

Surely the upcard is massively important given that we see 20% of the board before we commit any chips

Playing this now of Stars for the 1st time (maybe H / L NL wasn"t the best place to start :P but I"m currently 22/123/473 ;) ) and it"s mental.
FWIW I totally agree with Steve; I think the upcard is the key... having said that it"s hard to find hands that DON"T have some appeal.
I just played a hand where on the river any Heart or Ten Gives me the nut high and any 4-5-6 or 8 gives me the nut low..... obv I missed the world :D
